25/11/2019

Grõwancork is taking its first steps in the construction market with sustainable solutions that benefit from the technical and natural properties of the main raw material used - the expanded insulation corkboard.

Grõwancork (one of Amorim Cork Ventures` startups) attended CONCRETA from 21st to 24th November, to present to the market its portfolio of new products for construction.

CONCRETA is a Portuguese fair that has the purpose to promote new trends in construction, architecture, design and engineering area. Thus, Grõwancork, initially focused on producing cork insulated chassis for commercial refrigeration equipment (which remains the company's core business), is starting to take the first steps in this potential market with sustainable solutions that benefit from the technical and natural properties of the main raw material used - expanded insulation corkboard.

The most demanded solutions are sandwich panels for thermal and acoustic insulation, combining cork with other materials (gypsum plasterboard, veneer MDF, sheet metal, among others) applied as interior wall coverings and partitions walls, offering the possibility to customize according to customer requirements. Its portfolio also includes decorative panels for thermal and acoustic insulation, for exterior and interior walls, with a wide range of thicknesses and finishes.
